ICAR 2026 Abstract Submissions are Open
Abstract title should be a maximum of 150 characters (including spaces).
All authors must be listed, and one author noted as the presenting author.
Each author’s title and institution should be noted.
Abstract text must be limited to 300 words and should include the following paragraphs: Background and objectives, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusion.
Travel bursaries are available for junior investigators including students, postdocs of 5 or fewer years (accounting for career disruptions), medical residents or fellows and working in a mentored environment. To apply for a travel bursary, submit:

Very brief statement (200-word limit) outlining your motivation for attending the conference and emphasizing alignment with your research and professional development

Funding for Maternal Mental Health Research: Specific Applications Now Open: Multiple Deadlines
The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) has announced anticipated funding opportunities for Fiscal Year 2026, including funding for maternal mental health research within the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP). The goal of this program is to transform healthcare through innovative and impactful research. Specific applications with submission deadlines are now open.

The Stark Summer Science Symposium is set for July 29-30 at University Tower and Hine Hall. The annual symposium, hosted by Stark Neurosciences Research Institute, provides a platform for undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral trainees to present research, exchange ideas and network with one another. This year's symposium is scheduled for Wednesday to Thursday, July 29-30 at University Tower and Hine Hall on the IU Indianapolis campus.

A Clinical Trial named Felix Physiology Study is currently being conducted in Fasikl’s office in Bloomington, MN. The devices used in this study are investigational products that have not yet been approved for sale in the US. This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB), recruiting a total of 50 patients. The sponsor will provide investigational products and pay related test fees. The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) published the Request for Project Proposals (RPP) MTEC-25-08-PTSD prediction on the MTEC website and a notice will be posted on http://www.sam.gov/ to notify interested parties. This Request for Project Proposals will seek to utilize a robust prediction algorithm prototype to detect a risk for PTSD within the U.S Navy. The prototype model should leverage existing data sources (e.g., Defense Manpower Data Center, Military Health System Data Repository, Defense Organizational Climate Survey), incorporate cutting-edge machine learning/artificial intelligence techniques, and prioritize ethical considerations. The goal is to provide the Navy with a deployable data-driven capability to proactively identify at-risk Sailors, facilitate timely interventions, and mitigate the impact of PTSD on individual Sailors and the Fleet.
The National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA) has announced a call for nominations for the Robert L. Moody Prize for Distinguished Initiatives in Brain Injury (Moody Prize). The award recognizes individuals whose visionary leadership and outstanding contributions have advanced brain injury research, rehabilitation, services, and policy, significantly improving the lives of those affected.
