Proposal Opportunities
On behalf of the Society for Neuroscience (SfN), we invite you to submit a session proposal for Neuroscience 2026, taking place November 14–18 in Washington, D.C. SfN is committed to fostering a rich intellectual community where neuroscience researchers can thrive, exchange ideas, and share their latest discoveries. Our program at Neuroscience 2025 was a strong reflection of these values, and we aim to build on that success in 2026. To expand participation and enhance accessibility, we encourage neuroscientists from all backgrounds and career stages to submit a proposal for a Neuroscience 2026 session or event by Wednesday, January 21, 5 p.m. EST.
New Investigator Award Submissions Open: Deadline January 28, 2026. The American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (ASCP) invites you to apply for the New Investigator Award (NIA), a unique opportunity to accelerate your professional growth and connect with leaders shaping the future of clinical psychopharmacology. Award recipients gain access to personalized mentoring, a full-day development workshop led by NIH, FDA, academic, and industry experts, and the chance to present their research during the ASCP Annual Meeting. Don’t miss your opportunity to gain recognition and build lasting professional connections. Submissions guideline.
The Dana Foundation is accepting letters of interest (LOIs) for pilot projects in Neuroscience & Society. Applicants may request up to $150,000 in funding for projects over a period of up to 18 months. LOIs may be submitted throughout the 2026 calendar year, however, we are prioritizing LOIs received before January 30, 2026, to best align with our 2026 funding cycles. Visit their FAQs for Grant Seekers section for answers to common inquiries, e.g. what we do and do not fund. View our LOI guidelines for content and formatting details, including our programmatic goals and objectives. The maximum length for an LOI is three pages. Submit a letter of interest.

On May 30, 2025, the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) published the Request for Project Proposals (RPP) MTEC-25-08-PTSDprediction on the MTEC website and a notice will be posted on http://www.sam.gov/ to notify interested parties. This Request for Project Proposals will seek to utilize a robust prediction algorithm prototype to detect a risk for PTSD within the U.S Navy. The prototype model should leverage existing data sources (e.g., Defense Manpower Data Center, Military Health System Data Repository, Defense Organizational Climate Survey), incorporate cutting-edge machine learning/artificial intelligence techniques, and prioritize ethical considerations. The goal is to provide the Navy with a deployable data-driven capability to proactively identify at-risk Sailors, facilitate timely interventions, and mitigate the impact of PTSD on individual Sailors and the Fleet.
