There are many coalitions consisting of other health advocacy or professional medical associations that circulate sign-on letters and ABC makes sure our voice joins these other groups in a more powerful alliance. Along with endorsing these letters, we inform the membership about our decision and encourage them to sign-on and provide the contact information for the coalition coordinating the letters.

April 13th, 2018 - Friends of NIDA Letter - VA Medicinal Cannabis Research
A letter circulated by Friends of NIDA addressed to Chairman Roe and Ranking Member Walz of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs endorsing the, “VA Medicinal Cannabis Research Act of 2018.”
A letter circulated by Mental Health America commending FDA Commissioner Gottlieb on his consideration of a Center of Excellence for Neuroscience and encouraging him to consider psychiatry as part of that center.
December 20th, 2017 - Opposition of Actions which might Impede CDC Research
A letter circulated by The American Neurological Association opposing any action taken by the government to impede the life-saving research conducted by the CDC.
November 8th, 2017 - Appeal for the Orphan Drug Tax Credit
A letter circulated by The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) opposing the proposal from the Senate Finance Committee to diminish the Orphan Drug Tax Credit.
September 5th, 2017 - Funding for National Neurological Diseases Surveillance System
A letter circulated by The National MS Society and the Michael J Fox Foundation urging Congress and the Administration to work together to raise the budget caps so that vital programs authorized under the 21st Century Cures Act can be funded appropriately through the appropriations process, including the National Neurological Diseases Surveillance System at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
