Why does Lundbeck feel it is important to partner with patient advocacy groups?
We consider patient advocacy a responsibility of every individual at Lundbeck, and central to our company’s Purpose. We hold ourselves accountable to this Purpose every day – ensuring patients are at the heart of every decision and always working with the best interests of patients in mind. Patient-centricity at Lundbeck goes beyond words. It is embedded into our culture and a priority at every level of the organization – and our employees embrace the opportunity to engage with patient communities.
We regularly engage with patient groups in more organized ways, convening representatives of patient communities to help us understand gaps in treatment and the functional outcomes that matter most to patients. Employees from across our organization welcome these opportunities to gather insights on patient needs. Through our engagement with the communities we serve, we better understand the needs of patients and their families, and ultimately apply this understanding toward the development of new therapies and support programs.
