American Headache Society 50th Annual Scientific Meeting will be held June 26 – 29 at Marriott Boston Copley Place in Boston, MA.  This is a significant milestone for the society – leading and serving the headache community for 50 years, and we will have many celebratory events as well as the latest scientific advances in the field! The Benign Essential Blepharospasm Research Foundation’s Annual International Conference will be held August 15- 17, 2008 in Minneapolis, MN co sponsored by the Dept. of Ophthalmology, School of Medicine, University of Minnesota. The American Association on Multi Sensory Environments (AAMSE) is a newly established association of dedicated  physicians, therapists, researchers, educators, neuroscientists and neuro-rehabilitation oriented professionals involved in the use of multi sensory environments to address sensory processing disorders in a variety of patient populations. AAMSE is dedicated to ethics, training, research, education, service provision and the appropriate use of multi-sensory environments. AAMSE invites interested parties to review its mission and goals at www.aamse.us.

 

National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA) hosts congressional fair and policy briefing in Washington, D.C. March 25 - 26, 2009.  The Congressional Brain Injury Task Force Awareness Day begins with the Brain Injury Awareness Fair from 10:00am-2:00pm on March 25th, and is followed by a briefing titled "Mild Brain Injury: From the Football Field to the Battlefield", and the day ends with a reception.  On March 26, NASHIA sponsors the first annual public policy seminar called "The Health Care Reform Debate: Implications for Civilians and Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury" at the Four Points by Sheraton, 1201 K Street, NW, Washington, DC.  To register, visit https://fs8.formsite.com/nashia/form563996994/secure_index.htmlQuestions?
